Just leave Chelsea, if you can’t fight for your position, a fake leader – Frank Leboeuf tells Chelsea star
Christian Pulisic has been encouraged by Chelsea great Frank Leboeuf to leave Stamford Bridge for a new club this summer if he believes his lack of regular playing time under Thomas Tuchel is unfair.
Pulisic, according to Leboeuf, is not a true leader or the player who will save Chelsea in the future.
After Pulisic’s father criticized his lack of playing time and suggested he leave Stamford Bridge, he stated this.
Pulisic has had a tumultuous time at Chelsea since joining for £58 million from Borussia Dortmund in 2019.
The American international was instrumental in Chelsea’s Champions League victory, but he failed to find a regular spot in the squad.
He has only started ten of Chelsea’s 34 Premier League games this season, and he was named on Tuchel’s bench for the 1-0 loss to Everton in the Premier League on Sunday.
“Yeah, it’s possible,” Leboeuf said when asked if he thinks Pulisic would leave Chelsea this summer. I’m not sure if he’s depressed or not.
“Whether at Borussia Dortmund or Chelsea, he never seems to be indispensable to any of the coaches.”
“I believe he feels the strain of leading a country ahead of a World Cup since he is the [USA] captain.” However, in Europe, he is not regarded as a true leader or as the man who will save Chelsea.
“It is what it is,” says the narrator. He still has time to improve, but if he believes the situation is unjust, he should quit Chelsea. Alternatively, fight for your position because the frontline has been a disaster for over a year.”
