35 goals star addresses rumours and opens door to Chelsea move
Chelsea will be looking forward to strengthen their squad under new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly ahead of next season.
However, Chelsea will be losing some vital players in their squad, in the defense area and it was reported that some Chelsea attackers are also ready to leave.
Meanwhile, 24-year-old Christopher Nkunku had a phenomenal season with RB Leipzig, where he bagged 35 goals and 20 assists for the Bundesliga club.
He was also named Bundesliga Player of the Season ahead of the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland.
Nkunku has been linked with a number of top clubs this summer, including Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
The forward has refused to close the door on a move away from Leipzig this summer.
“Paris, I’ve always said it, it’s my home, my heart club,” the forward said at a press conference ahead of France’s Nations League match with Denmark.“It’s flattering to have the biggest clubs in the world interested in me. But it’s also flattering that Leipzig is doing everything to keep me.
“We are in June, and I am focused on this gathering.”
