However, The 18-year-old is highly regarded at Stamford Bridge, and while he is mostly intended for the reserve squad, a strong preseason might drive him into first-team consideration for next season.

The teenager spent last season on loan with Charlton Athletics, where he appeared seven times for the first team and scored twice, as well as making appearances for the reserve team.
