Chelsea is preparing a trade proposal for Juventus’ Matthijs de Ligt.
Gianluca di Marzio of Sky Italia reports that Chelsea is preparing a £38 million offer for the 22-year-old Dutchman, together with Timo Werner.
De Ligt wants to quit the Bianconeri after heated negotiations over a new deal fell down on Thursday.
A player with a £103 million release clause would be more desirable to Juventus.
Werner, a forward for Chelsea, is reportedly attracting interest from Juventus, but his reputed £270,000-per-week salary may be problematic.
