Former Chelsea star goes missing after days of signing for new club
Until now, Charly Musonda’s career has progressed from “lost opportunities” to “genuinely sad,” and if it keeps going in the same direction, it may soon reach “truly tragic” status.
The winger visited Zulte Waregem in his native Belgium for a trial after being released by Chelsea this summer – after years marred by injuries – and performed well enough to be handed a contract.
However, Musonda has disappeared since receiving that offer a few days ago, raising serious concerns regarding his whereabouts considering that he was supposed to have joined them for training by now.
The club’s chief executive was quoted by The Sun as admitting they had no idea where the winger was or when he would return.
Anyway, let’s hope there’s a good reason behind it all. We just want to watch him play out the rest of his career, wherever that may be, without suffering countless setbacks.
