3 Chelsea players left Tuchel’s first team squad in America after latest decisions
Thomas Tuchel appears to have made some decisions on some of the players on his current team while on the preseason tour of the United States.
However, News of a few players who had not accompanied The Blues as they arrived in Orlando overnight for their next game in the middle of the week broke.
Billy Gilmour and Harvey Vale have joined the U23s team, who are now on their own preseason campaign in America, according to Football London reporter Adam Newson [below].
Since neither player was even on the roster for Sunday’s 2-1 victory over Club America, it appears that both are about to leave the team, likely on loan.
Armando Broja, a player Thomas Tuchel was rumored to be considering during the preseason, has apparently returned to England with a transfer pending.
However, The fact that guys like Ross Barkley and Michy Batshuayi are still on this team while incredibly gifted young players were benched will infuriate Chelsea fans. It won’t be well received at all.
Understand Billy Gilmour and Harvey Vale have left the Chelsea first-team group – and are potentially joining up with the Dev Squad out here in the U.S.
Armando Broja, meanwhile, is on his way back to England tonight. Clubs still pushing to sign him.
