(Video): ‘A legend’ – Fans talking about what Raheem Sterling did to a Manchester City shirt in Chelsea training
Chelsea signing Raheem Sterling declined an offer to autograph a Manchester City jersey.
However, Sterling joined his new teammates for training in the US after last week’s transfer from City to Chelsea.
And by shunning the uniform of his former team, City, he demonstrated that he has gone past his City days.
Sterling can be seen signing shirts held up to him by a group of fans in a video that was posted on social media.
But as he approaches a Manchester City jersey, he turns away and appears to say “no.”

Check-out some city fans reactions below:
@unofficialciteh : The guy was looking for a reaction

@Da1andonlyTroy: He’s playing for the rival team man
@iamcalledamon: Thats weird af..just sign the shirt
@GUNNERSDEM: Trust me. My man’s acting like its some bloods and crips situation
@Tobicuervo8: I know that Sterling is part of another club now, but I think it’s wrong to do that, the poor kid will have been sad
@espada__21: Seeing this ,thinking of all those missed chances and selfish plays
@wsiago_: glad he did this so people like you would stop calling this guy a legend
@_Alzzzz: Literally your greatest winger in the prem
@CrustyFlacko: So glad we let him go, he has no real love for the club and he’s made that quite clear in this video.
@JoshHall1323: Idk if it’s really disrespectful it’s his choice – most of us wouldn’t care if he had signed it either. But I get why he doesn’t want to be signing City shirts at a CFC signings session less than a week after transferring
@David424wisdom: Wow wonderful
