(Video): He has been signed by Chelsea” – Barcelona president Joan Laporta confirms 60m deal with Chelsea
According to Barcelona president Joao Laporta, who appeared to have been recorded by a fan disclosing Jules Kounde’s future, the Frenchman will be moving to Chelsea this summer.
This summer, Chelsea and Barcelona have competed for as many as three players. Raphinha and Lewandowski have already relocated to Camp Nou, but Kounde’s future is uncertain.
Kounde’s exit from Sevilla has apparently been agreed upon in terms. The French defender was apparently overheard by a Barcelona supporter telling Laporta that he was headed to Stamford Bridge.
The president of Barcelona is heard on the video saying:
“Koundé, no. He’s been signed by Chełsea.”
