After missing Everton clash, Chelsea players set to leave club – report

According to reports, Marcos Alonso, a left back for Chelsea, has been linked with a transfer to Barcelona over the summer, and the 31-year-old international from Spain is getting closer to a move to the Camp Nou.

However, Chelsea’s inaugural league match against Everton was missed by Alonso.

Meawhile, Marcos Alonso reportedly urged Tuchel not to start him against Everton because he wants to concentrate on deciding his future and avoid being hurt, which could hurt his move.

According to reports, Barcelona and Chelsea have reached an agreement on a transfer fee of €10 million for Alonso. The Spaniard will sign a deal with Barca that runs until 2024 with an option for an additional year.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer expert, has reported that a deal for Alonso is about to be finalized.

Romano claims that Callum Hudson-Odoi, who was also left off the team for the match against Everton, will be leaving the organization.

Romano tweeted: “Marcos Alonso is not part of Chelsea squad today as deal with Barcelona is really close – matter of final details then it will be completed in the next days. #FCB

“Callum Hudson-Odoi also not in the squad today.”

Newcastle and Leicester City are keen on the young Chelsea winger, and reports have it that he may leave the club this summer.
