BREAKING: Chelsea set to terminate contracts of three players after latest development
Many players from Chelsea’s past appear to have no futures and won’t be included on the team’s match-day roster.
However, a major problem has been the high salaries of some of these players, making it impossible for interested clubs to buy them without making significant price concessions.
According to the dependable Matt Law of The Telegraph, who was speaking on the London is Blue Podcast today, Chelsea may be getting tired of waiting for them to find new clubs for themselves and may end the contracts of three players in particular.
According to him, Chelsea may simply terminate the contracts of players like Kenedy, Baba Rahman, and Ross Barkley.
At Chelsea, this would be unheard of, but not at American sports teams, whose owners frequently do this only to get rid of the deadwood. If this happens, it will be interesting to see what happens.
🚨 Chelsea might terminate contracts and just get rid of the likes of Kenedy, Baba Rahman and Ross Barkley.
