‘Why Thiago Silva is bad for football’ – Brazil coach makes Thiago Silva hilarious admission

According to reports, Brazil national team manager Tite has made a hilarious admission on Thiago Silva amid the Chelsea defender’s recent 38th birthday.

The centre-back joined the Blues on a free transfer in the summer of 2020 after his departure from Paris Saint-Germain, for whom he made 315 appearances in eight seasons.

Silva is now in his third campaign at Chelsea, with the now 38-year-old still performing to the highest possible standard despite his veteran status.

He has so far won the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup during his time at the club, with the opportunity for more silverware this season.

Silva’s deal was initially set to expire this summer, but the Brazilian signed a contract extension at the beginning of the year, keeping him in west London until next year.

He is now on international duty with his national side, having previously made 107 appearances for his country.

Speaking via ge, Brazil manager Tite commented on the experienced defender, who celebrated his 38th birthday on Thursday.

“He will be a good coach,” he said.

“And he’s bad for football. Do you know why he’s bad for football? Because he makes things so easy and they’re hard as hell.

“He manages to make the clearest, most lucid, transparent decisions with impressive technical performance.”

Despite this potentially being his final season at the club, Silva has hinted that he may be looking to extend his stay at the west London side.
