Abramovich not happy and ready to sack Lampard and appoint Italian coach following poor start to the season
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly not happy with Chelsea’s start to the season despite spending over £200million in the transfer market.
Chelsea have made a disappointing start to the season, winning just two out of five Premier League games despite the huge amount spent on strengthening the squad.
Frank Lampard’s Chelsea team were also knocked out the Carabao Cup by Tottenham and questions continue to be asked over Chelsea’s leaky defence.
According to a report on talkSPORT, Abramovich won’t let sentiment stop him from sacking Lampard if he doesn’t see results from the team.
Abramovich is reportedly considering appointing former Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri as a managerial replacement for Frank Lampard in case results continue to disappoint under the Chelsea boss.
