Achraf Hakimi issues transfer message after Chelsea hold talks over £50m deal

The full-back is currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he has established himself as one of the most sought after right-backs in Europe.

Chelsea have reportedly held talks to sign Hakimi, while Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Tottenham have also expressed an interest in the transfer.

Hakimi is due to return to Real this summer after two years at Dortmund and the defender revealed he is yet to decide where his future lies. He told Cadena SER:

‘Who does not like it [being linked with big clubs]? I am proud of what I am doing. ‘In June I will have to make a decision and it will be a great step for my career. In theory, my contract ends in June and from there I have to return to Madrid.

‘I have not yet had contact with Madrid on this matter, but I imagine that soon we will have some conversation to find out what is best for me.’

I don’t know when my contract ends, that subject is taken by my agent,’ he added. ‘It is the same contract that I signed in 2017.
