‘After Juventus loss this will happen to Chelsea’ — Owen makes strange prediction for Chelsea vs Malmo clash

Following Chelsea 1-0 victory over Brentford on Saturday evening, The Blues will host Swedish side Malmo in the Champions League group H clash on Wednesday night.

However, Chelsea and Juventus are the favourites to go through from the group, but the Blues must as well be wary of Russian side Zenit St Petersburg.

Chelsea are second in the group after two round of games, and the Blues will be aiming to bounce back from the defeat suffered against Juventus last time out.

Former Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester United striker Michael Owen is backing Chelsea to beat Malmo and has predicted a 2-0 scoreline.

He said in his prediction for Bet Victor: “After losing to Juventus in their last group game, Chelsea will be wanting a straightforward win here.

“Malmo are yet to claim a point or score a goal and I can’t see that changing here. I fancy a 2-0 win for Thomas Tuchel’s Blues.”
