Agent hands Chelsea Haaland boost, Abramovic to bring ex-Blues star back, Chelsea to open German talks and Depay move to be made?

According to reports, Chelsea are considering Andriy Shevchenko as their next manager to replace Frank Lampard.

We have won just one of their last seven Premier League matches and sit eighth in the table, seven points behind Liverpool having played a game more than the reigning champions.

Pressure is building on the former England International to get the results, when pundits not suggesting that he will be the first boss in the Premier League to get the sack.

There has been talk in the media that Thomas Tuchel is very interested in making the move to the Premier League and taking charge of the club, especially after he got the sack from PSG just a few weeks ago, and he is the favourite to take over the Blues. But Le10Sport claim that we could swap one inexperienced former player for another in Shevchenko.

Sheva is currently boss of the Ukraine national team, a position he has held since 2016, having never managed anywhere else, and He has won 21 of his 40 games in charge, and most recently guided his side to Euro 2020 by topping a group that also contained European champions Portugal.

The reports says, Despite struggling as a player at the Bridge, Shevchenko remains well thought of by owner Roman Abramovich and is claimed to be on their radar as a manager.

Chelsea could open talks to sign Jerome Boateng at the end of the season on a free deal.

During the summer transfer window, Frank Lampard was seeking to add an experienced defender to that back-line as he needed to add some leadership and quality ahead of the new season, and he was heavily linked with a move for Boateng.

Despite being a regular fixture in the squad over the past few years, there was widespread speculation that Boateng was done at Bayern, and that the German were ready to cash in on the defender in order to freshen up this ageing squad.

However, a despite all the rumours and despite all that speculation, we failed to get a transfer deal done for Boateng and in the end, they opted to bring the brilliant Tiago Silva to the club, and he has proven to be a massive hit with the fans.

But there are now reports on the Daily Express website which have suggested that we may decide to open talks this month in a bid to win the race for Boateng at the end of the current season.

Chelsea will open talks with Memphis Depay about a possible free transfer deal.

After enduring a terrible time of it at Manchester United, Depay made the move to France to reignite his career and so far it has worked out, as he has become one of the most deadly players in Ligue 1.

It has led to alot of speculation in the media that we are interested in trying to secure a deal in the coming windows, and Depay has done nothing to put an end to those rumours.

The former PSV star insists he is completely focused on Lyon for the time being as his side look to stay in contention for the Ligue 1 title, but he does not know where he will be next year.

“To be honest, we have a great team here. I don’t know what will happen next year. I’m an OL player, the captain, and I’m here to win things, games and be important for the team. This is my main goal,” he said at a press conference.

“If I start thinking about my future, I might lose my focus. I am 100 per cent with OL. What will happen in the future, we’ll see. That’s what I’ve always said.

Borussia Dortmund have moved to dampen Chelsea’s interest Erling Haaland by urging the striker to stay at the club and develop his game.

Haaland is regarded as one of the very best young strikers in world football right now and since his move to Borussia Dortmund last season, he has netted an impressive 33 goals in just 33 games for the Bundesliga side. We have been linked with a possible move to try and secure a transfer deal for a player that would demand a dee of around £100 million.

But With the January transfer window now open, Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has moved to quell any interest in his star striker by drawing a comparison to Robert Lewandowski.

“I don’t think that will happen,” Watzke told Kicker when asked about the possibility of Haaland leaving Dortmund in the summer.

“Erling and his advisor Mino Raiola know what they have in us. I can only advise him to do things like Robert Lewandowski.”

There will be a massive battle for the services of Haaland when he comes onto the market, but we would love to see him in the Premier League, he is the kind of player that would send a real statement for the club.

Dortmund may feel that they can keep hold of the powerhouse right now, but at the end of the season or in the next couple of windows, the right offer from the board may be able to get a transfer deal done. And honestly, as we said, he would be a big statement signing from the club.
