Luis Fernando Garcia, Emerson Palmieri agent has denied any recent contact with the Bianconeri and has admits his player wants to stay at Stamford Bridge.

The representative has made it clear that the left-back is very happy with his life at Chelsea and has a harmonious relationship with his teammates and the manager, although he didn’t rule out a return to Italy altogether. “Emerson is very happy at Chelsea, he gets along well with his teammates and coach,” agent Fernando Garcia told TuttoJuve.

“As of today, I have not had any contact with other clubs. It’s true that Juventus were interested when he was still playing for Roma, but that was the season before he moved to Chelsea.

“As I said, he’s very happy at Chelsea and already in one of the biggest leagues in the world. Only God can say whether Emerson will return to play in Italy or not.”

Emerson hasn’t really taken the Premier League by storm following his arrival at Chelsea from AS Roma back in January 2018, and to be honest, he is still basking in the success of his breakthrough season in the Serie A back in 2016-17.

The left-back has found himself in and out of the Blues’ starting eleven under Antonio Conte, Maurizio Sarri and Frank Lampard, struggling for consistency, while injuries have also stalled his progress to an extent.

The 25-year-old made a bright start to the ongoing campaign under Lampard but slipped down the pecking order drastically prior to the coronavirus-caused hiatus, with just one of his 13 league starts this season coming since the turn of the year.
