Chelsea star Willian is set to end his seven-year stay at Stamford Bridge this summer after talks over a new deal ended following months of unsuccessful negotiations.
London rivals Arsenal have been reportedly offered the opportunity to sign Willian when he leaves Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
According to The Sun, Arsenal are said to be shocked at Willian’s wage demands during transfer talks.
The Brazilian wants a three-year deal, which would take him to the age of 34 by the end of the contract and also wants to maintain his current salary of £120,000-a-week for the duration of his stay at the Emirates.
Arsenal are reportedly not willing to sanction a deal for Willian unless the Brazilian lowers his wage demands.
