Arsenal urged to sign Chelsea’s world-cup winner in January
Olivier Giroud has been in good form for Chelsea in recent weeks, and the France international has scored five goals in his last two games for the Blues.
The 34-year-old has found his way back into the starting lineup, and has proven that he can still be relied upon, with six goals in his last six starts at the club.
Giroud had been linked with an exit in the January transfer window, after starting the campaign with limited playing time, but is set to remain at the club due to his recent form.
Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta’s former teammate Louis Saha has advised the Arsenal manager to consider signing Giroud in the January transfer window.
Asked whether Arsenal should consider a move for Giroud, Saha told Genting Bet: “Olivier Giroud could be a good option for Arsenal if they were to resign him. He is a top striker.
“He might not always give you the style that you want but he is always questioned and stands up to answer them. Any side in England would love to have a Giroud on top form in their team.”
