Awful, Chelsea top target got robbed, beaten and threatened in his home – report

According to latest reports reaching us this morning, Chelsea target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been assaulted during a violent robbery at his home in Barcelona in the early hours of Monday morning.

However, Following Barcelona’s 4-0 victory over Real Valladolid, which Aubameyang was an unused substitute, the Gabonese was then assaulted in his home.

According to Spanish newspaper El Pais, at least four men climbed into the player’s garden and threatened him with firearms and iron bars.

Aubameyang was reportedly assaulted and intimidated by the armed men in front of his wife. The criminals forced open a safe inside the house and stole several jewels.

Witnesses claim that the thieves fled in a white Audi A3.

Earlier this month, Aubameyang’s Barcelona teammate Robert Lewandowski had his £59,000 watch stolen outside the club’s training ground whilst he signed autographs for supporters.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s deal for Aubameyang appears to be going south with Barcelona now holding out for a fee of £30m.

Former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit, has said that Chelsea have shown a lack of vision in this summer’s transfer market.

He told fairbettingsites.co.uk: “Auba looks more a panic buy than something the club have been thinking about for months. The transfer market is ending in a few days and Chelsea are in a panic.

“They want to buy defenders, strikers, but they just don’t know what they want.”
