According to reports, Kai Havertz has reportedly agrees five year contract with the Blues as the German star set to make Stamford bridge switch.
Following Bayer Leverkusen’s defeat to Inter Milan last night Peter Bosz Leverkusen head coach jokes about the future of Chelsea target Kai Havertz . When asked if the match was Havertz’s final game for Leverkusen, Bosz replied:
‘Yes, I can announce that he will play for Heracles Almelo.’ Bosz has managed Dutch side Heracles on two separate occasions during his managerial career.
However, Leverkusen’s exit in Europe could now pave the way for Havertz to complete his move to Chelsea this summer.
The 21-year-old is one of Chelsea’s top targets and reports have claimed that Frank Lampard has already held talks with the midfielder about his move to Stamford Bridge.
Havertz has reportedly agreed a five-year contract with Chelsea, while the club have indicated that they are willing to meet Leverkusen’s €100 million (£89.8m) asking price.
As it stands now, We are all waiting for the official announcement on both clubs as the fans cross hands and see when it will be done, but hopefully this week.
