According to Sky Sports transfer expert Kaveh Solhekol, Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz is keen on completing his Chelsea transfer before next Thursday after agreeing personal terms with Chelsea.
The Germany international is reportedly putting pressure on Bayer Leverkusen to agree a transfer fee with Chelsea so he can complete his transfer to Chelsea before next Thursday.
Solhekol said: “The latest we have on this deal, and this is significant news for Chelsea supporters, is that the player himself is very, very keen to move to Chelsea.
“He’s almost putting pressure on Bayer Leverkusen to do a deal with Chelsea because he wants to play under Frank Lampard.
“Of course, Leverkusen are back in Europa League action next Thursday against Rangers.
“I think the feeling as far as Havertz himself is concerned is that he would like something sorted out with Chelsea before next Thursday.”
