Better than him? as Tuchel finally identifies perfect replacement for Timo Werner
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is seriously losing patience on Timo Werner as he’s looking for a perfect replacement for the German player.
However, according to Daily Mail, Tuchel has identified Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne as a perfect replacement for Chelsea forward Timo Werner.
Insigne, who starred in Italy’s run to win the European Championship this summer, has spent the majority of his career at boyhood club Napoli, only leaving for a few loan spells at the start of his football journey.
Insigne’s contract expires at the end of the season and the Blues reportedly hope to sign him as a free agent.
Insigne has scored twice and provided three assists as Napoli have won all six of their opening league games to go top of the Italian standings and Tuchel believes the Italian is the perfect replacement for Werner.
Insigne starred in Italy’s run to win the European Championship this summer and would definitely add quality to Chelsea’s attack.
