Reports from Italy have claimed that Roma are prepared to part ways with one of their current players as part of a swap deal at the end of the season for Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku starring for Roma
The Belgian sits on 18 goals in all competitions this season, starring particularly in Europe.

Roma secured their place in the next round of the Europa League with a dominant victory over Brighton, and Lukaku scored one of his seven goals in that competition this season in the first leg.

It seems as if they would like to bring him in on a permanent basis, however will struggle to meet the fee the Blues will ask for.

Roma considering offering Chelsea Abraham
However, it has now been claimed that they are considering offering Abraham as part of a deal to return to Stamford Bridge.

This season has been a nightmare for the England international, with injury keeping him on the sidelines for long periods of it.

He has previously been of interest to Chelsea for a return, with it being wondered if they had a clause that could see them buy him back.

While reports have previously stated that they do, the £69m reported fee is likely something they will not be looking to spend at this stage.

They have been strongly linked with the addition of a striker this summer, with it unknown yet as to whether they will spend big on one.

If they do, the likes of Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres are likely to be at the top of the list.
