Thomas Tuchel claims Chelsea can conquer the world with him in charge.
Tuchel is a boss that is very highly rated in the game and took PSG to that Champions League final last season, but issues with the way that the club like to do transfer business led to him getting the sack just before Christmas.
But the German is now back in management and taking charge of a side that has one of the very best squads in the Premier League, and some players that are on the fringes that may feel they now have a chance to prove themselves.
Tuchel insists every player has a fresh start with him and nothing is impossible with the squad at his disposal – despite kicking off his reign with a goalless stalemate against Wolves, he has claimed that he can help this side conquer the world

“I want to focus on our strengths, not our weaknesses from now on. I will focus on the amazing mix between experienced players, big personalities and young and hungry talent.
“And I am used to creating special energy to achieve the possibility of winning every three days in a league like this. I believe we can do this on a daily basis. “What I have found is a very open staff, helpful, friendly people a team open to our ideas.
“It was an unfair line up today. I had no reason to leave anybody out. From now on is the starting point and we will focus on our strengths and qualities we have and build a team that nobody wants to play against.”
Chelsea have reportedly entered contract talks with Brazilian star Thiago Silva
According to reports on SportItalia have claimed that the club have now entered contract talks with Silva about staying at the club until the end of 2023.
Many doubted the quality of Silva and whether he could still compete at the very highest level of the game, but he has come to the Bridge and proven that he is still one of the very best central defenders in the game right now.
So if the reports are true and we have begun talks with the defender about a new contract at the club, it is a very smart move to make as he still has alot of offer, both on the pitch and off of it.
Silva is the leader that we have been missing, and after his performances for the club already this season, there has been some reports in the media that a number of other clubs are now interested in getting a deal done.
Dayot Upamecano agent has confirmed the sought-after centre-back is deciding on his future with Chelsea vying for the RB Leipzig star.
According to reports, Upamecano has a current contract until 2023 at the German side but the player’s representative Volker Struth confirmed he has a £38million release clause – something that is likely to be triggered this summer.
Speaking to Sport1, he said: “The release clause was agreed because the player decided to want to take the next step at some point. It is very likely in the summer.
“Nothing final has been decided yet. The tendency for him to leave the club in the summer is high. “The release clause is £38m. That is an insane sum in coronavirus times.
“In summer 2019 it was something else. The proportions of the transfer fees have changed. I believe that some clubs have to say goodbye to the market values when they sell players.
“[Apart from the Bundesliga] only the English league is in consideration. The Spanish clubs that were eligible are currently financially unable to do so.
“It’s no secret that there are two interested parties from the Premier League. A decision will be made and announced in the next few weeks.”
Blues outcast Baba Rahman has joined Greek side PAOK on loan until the end of the season.
Rahman signed for the club in a £23 million ($31m) move from Augsburg in 2015, and he appeared to be spearheading a major revamp of the’ defensive line-up as there was much hope that he could go on to become a top defender in the game
However, he failed to make the kind of impact at the club that many at we had hoped for, and over the last few seasons, he has been shifted out on-loan on numerous occasions, while also starring for the under-23 side.
But as his future at the club looks, bleak, he will not spend the next few months at PAOK after agreeing a loan move to the Green side until the end of the season
A statement read: “Baba Rahman has today moved on loan to Greek side PAOK for the remainder of the campaign.”
It continued: “His new loan club PAOK are known to Chelsea supporters for our games against them in the Europa League in 2018.”
At PAOK, who are currently in 4th place in the Greek Super League, he will be expected to fill in as a starter at the left back position after Dimitrios Giannoulis’ departure to Norwich City. While there were rumors of a buying option being inserted into the deal, there is no official confirmation on the front yet.
