‘Blues sold a problem’, ‘A No solution player’ – Former Chelsea captain with Chelsea star exit

One former Chelsea captain is not impressed at all with a player that the club sold recently, saying he is a problem and has created issues at his new club.

Ironically, his new club is actually who Chelsea are facing this weekend in the Premier League, and said new player is likely to be in their lineup.

We are of course speaking about Kai Havertz, who Arsenal paid a hefty sum to sign from Chelsea in the summer.

At the time, not many Chelsea fans were disappointed at all that he was being sold, which probably tells you all you need to know.

But former Blue Frank Leboeuf does not rate Havertz and thinks his best position is on the bench!!

The opinionated former French World Cup winning defender has been speaking about Havertz again ahead of the two sides meeting tomorrow evening.

In words cited by The Metro, he says: “That guy’s an enigma, we don’t know where to put him. That’s the problem, his inconsistency at the top level.

“Everything was organised very well at Arsenal last season. We knew the midfielders, we knew the strikers, everything. And because of his price tag, you have to play him but that’s disorganised the team.

“You have the striker – [Eddie] Nketiah or [Gabriel] Jesus – and then you have [Bukayo] Saka, [Gabriel] Martinelli or [Leandro] Trossard on the wings. You don’t need him up front.

“In the middle of the park, because you have [Martin] Odegaard you need two strong midfielders to get the ball back. So, you don’t need him.

“So, you have created issues and problems because you hired him. He has a talent for sure when he’s at his best. But right now, he’s more a problem than a solution.
