Blues to offer two players in Juventus forward deal, Tuchel identifies £30m-rated star as top transfer target, as Tammy Abraham makes decision on his future after snub by Tuchel
Chelsea are apparently able to include Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri for any proposed deal for Juventus forward Paulo Dybala.
The 27-year-old has under 18 months left to run on his deal with the Old Lady and continue to be connected with a summer deal, despite the fact that Andrea Pirlo has confirmed that Dybala will remain in Turin for the 2021-22 season.
Andrea Pirlo’s remarks don’t seem to have stopped interested clubs, however, and his future past 2022 remaining unclear, so the Serie A giants could hope to capitalize on the player this summer as opposed to chance losing him for nothing one year from now.
Chelsea are one of a few sides connected with a bid, and as per Tuttosport, Thomas Tuchel will forfeit Jorginho and Emerson to land Dybala for the 2021-22 season.
Jorginho continues to be rotated all through the team since Tuchel took charge, while Emerson remains the Blues’ third-choice left-back behind Ben Chilwell and Marcos Alonso, and he has played only 88 minutes of Premier League football this season.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid have all been credited with an interest in Dybala, who has overseen only three goals from 14 Serie A appearances in a injury hit campaign.
Tuchel identifies £30m-rated star as top transfer target
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly keen on a potential transfer deal for Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule this summer.
The Germany international is emerging as one of Tuchel’s priority targets to add to his squad, and would likely cost around £30million, according to The Athletic.
Chelsea fans will no doubt be keen to see a new centre-back come in, with Sule perhaps ideal to provide the Blues with a long-term replacement for the ageing Thiago Silva.
Sule would surely also be an upgrade on unconvincing performers like Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Kurt Zouma, while the future of Fikayo Tomori is up in the air.
The Athletic suggest Tomori’s fine form on loan at AC Milan could see him join the Italian giants permanently, in which case Chelsea could definitely do with reinvesting the money from his sale.
Sule has generally been a key player at Bayern but is now less of a regular starter and is approaching the final year of his contract.
£30m could be a bargain if Chelsea can land the 25-year-old for that price.
The Athletic name Jules Kounde as another target, but state that he’d likely be a lot more expensive.
Tammy Abraham makes decision on his future after snub by Tuchel
Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham was surprisingly not even named on the bench for Chelsea’s 1-0 FA Cup semi-final victory over Manchester City on Saturday.
The striker has played a bit part role for the team since the arrival of manager Thomas Tuchel midway through this season.
According to Sky Sports, Abraham is set to pursue a move away from the club in the summer with several Premier League clubs interested in signing the 23 year old striker.
Abraham wants playing time, and would be happy to get it through a loan or permanent move in the coming transfer window.
