Jerome Boateng has informed Chelsea that he is at hand to help get a deal done for Jerome Boateng of Niklas Sule.

Chelsea boss Thomas Thuchel will be looking to improve that back-line in the summer transfer window and add a bit more proven quality to the side, especially as he knows that Thiago Silva will not be around forever.

That has led to speculation in the media that Chelsea are interested in raiding Bayern in the summer for the signature of Boateng or Sule, who both look set to leave the Bundesliga Champions.

Boateng is out of contract at the end of the season and has not been able to agree a new contract, with reports that Bayern have acquired Dayot Upamecano as the immediate replacement for the German ace.

And Sule has also been linked with a move away from the club after failing to establish himself in the first-team this season, leading to suggestions that Chelsea are looking to pay £25 million to try and secure a five-year contract.

Now, amid the speculation, Boateng has opened up and told Chelsea that he is at hand to help the club get some deals done, Asked about the rumours surrounding the two Bayern stars, Rudiger – who helped lure Timo Werner and Kai Havertz to Stamford Bridge – told Bild’s Christian Falk: ‘If Chelsea were to decide on one of the three players as a transfer target, I would be available to answer any questions.

‘I know Jerome and Niklas very well and I’ve already had contact with David Alaba.’

Chelsea plan to open talks with the agent of David Alaba after he confirmed that he is leaving Bayern Munich in the summer.

According to the reports that Chelsea247 have learnt, is that the Chelsea board are planning to open talks with the agent of Alaba in the coming weeks, and are reportedly prepared to go as high as £350,000-a-week to seal a transfer deal.

The news comes after Alaba confirmed that he was leaving the Bundesliga giants, he told reporters on Tuesday: “It was not an easy decision. I have been here for 13 years and the association is really close to my heart. I am very grateful to the association for many things.

“I took my time because it’s not an easy decision to make overnight. I decided to do something new – a new challenge. I haven’t made the decision yet (on my new club), that remains to be seen.

“It’s no secret that my management is in contact with several clubs. But a lot is being read into it and I want to concentrate fully on my task here.

“Money has not been a factor in my decision.”

Long-Term Chelsea target Kylian Mbappe said he was happy at PSG but wouldn’t decide his future based on one game.

Mbappe is already considered to be one of the very best attackers in world football and is tipped to be the man that goes on to be considered the very best footballer in world football.

He was once again in fine form in the Champions League against Barcelona, Despite the absence of Neymar and Angel Di Maria, the 22-year-old scored once in the first half and twice in the second half as the Ligue 1 giants ran riot at Camp Nou to win 4-1

Their effort was good enough that Mbappe commented about how happy it made him to be part of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad: “We are very happy,” Mbappe told RMC Sport. “It was a very important match for us. We wanted to come here and win, and we did it in style.

“Tonight, it is magnificent but we have not won anything yet. I am happy. I always want to give the best of myself. I have not always had that success. But never in my life will I hide.

“Today, my hard work is paying off … We are feeling better and better physically [after our Covid-19 outbreak].

“It would be stupid to decide my future on a single match. The truth is that it is about reflecting for the long term. I have always said that I am happy here. This sort of match makes me even happier. … The PSG shirt is one that I hold dear to my heart.”

The France international will see his current deal at Parc des Princes expire at the end of next season, and has yet to commit to fresh terms.

Chelsea Liverpool and Real Madrid have been the three clubs that have been linked, so will be keeping a close eye on his situation at the club
