According to Goal, Serie A club Roma have become the latest club to register serious interest in Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga.
Roma have reportedly contacted the representatives of the former Chelsea winger over a potential summer transfer to the Italian capital.
Napoli, Brighton and Everton are also interested in signing the 23 year old Ivory Coast international. Boga looks likely to leave Sassuolo this summer after joining the Italian club two years ago from Chelsea in a £3.5m deal.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard reportedly wants Boga back at Stamford Bridge this summer with the Blues set to lose Pedro and Willian when their contracts expire at the end of the season.
According to Goal, a return to Chelsea will only interest Boga if he is offered assurances over his first-team chances. Boga left Chelsea due to lack of first team opportunities and isn’t willing to return if he isn’t given assurances of first team chances.
Boga had scored four goals in his last six games ahead of the stoppage in play due to the coronavirus outbreak which included scoring a decisive fourth goal in Sassuolo’s 4-2 win at home to Roma. Boga has eight goals and two assists in 21 starts for Sassuolo this season.
