The Blues have been monitoring Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen after his contract talks with the Spanish club stalled.
The Blues are reportedly interested in signing the German international as a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has struggled for consistency this season.
Amid reports linking him with a move to Chelsea, Ter Stegen has admitted he isn’t looking to leave Barcelona.
“We have had the first conversations, but we have parked it, due to the situation. There are more important things at the moment,” Ter Stegen said in an Instagram live interview.
“I am very happy here at Barcelona. My situation is good, what more could I ask for? I am relaxed about the renewal, and we will restart talks soon.”
Ter Stegen has been with Barcelona since 2014 after signing for £10million from Borussia Monchengladbach.
