According to latest reports, Kai Havertz to Chelsea appears to be edging closer by the day.
However, according to the latest information from Sky Germany, The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder has agreed to join Chelsea and that side of the deal all seems wrapped up.
Chelsea just need to agree a fee with the German club and seemingly agree whether he is allowed to play in the Europa League for them or not.
Sky Germany have some more information on that in a report late last night.
Their Reporter and transfer expert Marc Behrenbeck believes that ‘80 million euros plus bonuses’ have been ‘put down’ by Chelsea which should be enough “and then Leverkusen also says ‘yes’.”
This seemingly suggests that the fee is, or will be agreed any moment now and it is just whether he continues to play his last game or so with Bayer next month, or whether Chelsea ask that he comes to London right away.
