According to reports this week Chelsea have contacted Bayer Leverkusen over the transfer of 20 year old attacking midfielder Kai Havertz, who is seen a replacement for Willian and Pedro.
Willian and Pedro are expected to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season when their Chelsea contracts expire and the Blues are already planning for life without both players.
According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, talks between Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen for the transfer of Havertz are going well and the German club have told Chelsea their demands.
Schira claim Bayer Leverkusen are demanding Chelsea pay €80 million (£71.3 million) for the transfer of Kai Havertz.
Top German journalist Christian Falk had claimed on Tuesday that Chelsea’s interest in signing Havertz is serious.
