According to Caught Offside, Havertz’s price-tag could drop by £20 million to Chelsea’s valuation of £70 million if Bayer Leverkusen fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.
However, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen on signing Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz this summer.
The Blues have reportedly approached the German club over a transfer for the 21 year old midfielder but Bayer Leverkusen are demanding a transfer fee of £90 million.
Bayer Leverkusen are currently fifth in the Bundesliga, two points behind Borussia Monchengladbach in fourth, with one game left to end the Bundesliga season.
