According to The Sun, Chelsea are prepared to allow N’Golo Kante to miss the rest of the 2019-20 season if his fears over coronavirus persist.
Kante is reportedly concerned about returning to training because he has previous health issues — in 2018 he fainted in the dressing room at the training ground and he also lost his brother to a heart attack.
Kante reported for training on Tuesday but made a U-turn and decided to stay away from training due to concerns about his health.
The Blues have nine Premier League games left and could be without the midfielder for all of those games.
Meanwhile, It appears lockdown has given Kante time to decide upon a well-earned upgrade as he returned after the coronavirus break driving a Mercedes on Tuesday.
We will miss Kante for the rest of the season.
