BREAKING: Chelsea set to be charged €111m for Argentine striker

If you’re looking at the very top strikers in European football who Chelsea could possibly sign right now, Lautaro Martinez would have to be up ther.

However, The Argentine has finally had the European breakout we’ve all been waiting for this season after a stuttering start at Inter, and is now one of the continent’s most wanted prospects at that age.

Italian insider Nicolo Schira, whose Tweet you can see above, has reported that Barcelona have made the first move, and been directed to the player’s release clause: €111m.

There is no reason to think Chelsea would be charged any less. Inter love him as a player and have years left on his deal. If he comes close to reaching his potential, they would be mad to accept any less than his clause – and they’d be working to raise it too.

So if Chelsea want him, they know what they will have to pay.
