BREAKING: Former Chelsea star Willian living in fear after heavy threats
Ex-Chelsea winger Willian left Arsenal last year, and is now playing for Brazilian side Corinthians.
Meanwhile, according to latest reports Willian’s family are reportedly considering leaving the country again due to fears for their own safety.
A number of Corinthians players received death threats after Corinthians were beaten by Bolivian side Always Ready in the CONMEBOL Libertadores earlier this month.
Police have been investigating the threats which were made to a number of players after the match, including Willian and his family.
According to ESPN, Willian’s daughters are afraid to go to school, while his wife is staying inside at home unless she absolutely has to leave, as a result of the threat.
Willian has been training with Corinthians and is still at the club, but is moving around with a security guard.
