Frank Lampard wants Drogba as his assistant coach

With Sarri’s departure all but certain, the rumours of Lampard’s arrival have been given another boost.

Former Chelsea midfielder is considered the most likely next manager of Chelsea.

Latest reports suggest that he may have already met with the club’s representatives to discuss his possible appointment.

It is understood that Derby boss would push for having Didier Drogba as part of his coaching staff as the Ivorian is an influential voice within the club structure.

If by any chance Drogba speaks in favour of Lampard’s appointment, the club will be even more inclined to do as they already plan to do.

Frank doesn’t want to have John Terry as his assistant – this has already been made known.
