The Premier League have been cleared to resume the current season from after June the 1st, in information released by the Government today.
This information is as it stands and if there are any major changes to the pandemic situation then it could be put back further. But as it is, Chelsea could be playing again behind closed doors from June.
The Independent have also put their report together on the news, saying the Government have given the green light for football to resume from June the 1st.
The Premier League have their plans in place to resume the season and there are still multiple agreements for entire confirmation, but one of the agreements was that the Government would have to allow the league to return.
Now it appears as if they are allowing this, after June the 1st.
It is likely that there will be no fans allowed in the stadiums though for quite some time yet.
