BREAKING: Kante leaves France squad following latest development
N’Golo Kante was called up on international duty by France ahead of their international friendly game against Ivory Coast in Marseille on Friday, and South Africa in Lille on Tuesday.
However, According to French media outlet L’Équipe has reported that N’Golo Kanté has asked Didier Deschamps for permission to leave the French national team squad for personal reasons, which the manager has accepted.
Following the permission to leave the squad, Kanté did not take part in Tuesday’s training session, although he is expected to return to the France set-up later on in the week.
It’s yet to be known why Kante had to leave the squad temporarily. We can only hope it’s well with him.
