BREAKING: Manchester United announce new temporary manager ahead of Chelsea clash as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got sacked

According to latest reports this morning, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked as Manchester United boss on Sunday morning after Saturday’s 4-1 heavy defeat to Watford.

However, with Manchester United set to face Villarreal in the Champions League on Tuesday and Chelsea in the Premier League next Sunday, the Red Devils have announced a temporary replacement for Solskjaer as they search for a new manager.

Meanwhile, The Red Devils have announced former Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick as a temporary replacement for the sacked Solskjaer ahead of their games against Villarreal and Chelsea.

Carrick will certainly be in charge for Manchester United’s game against Villarreal but the Red Devils could announce an interim manager until the end of the season before the game against Chelsea.
