BREAKING: Pochettino now wants Chelsea to have ‘extraordinary’ player signed before July 3rd

Mauricio Pochettino now wants Chelsea to have Nicolas Jackson signed before pre-season starts on July 3rd

This is according to Nizaar Kinsella.

So, what is the latest on Nicolas Jackson and Chelsea?

The Athletic believe Chelsea have already agreed personal terms with the Senegal international.

Fabrizio Romano then claimed that Chelsea are happy to trigger Jackson’s €35m (£30m) release clause in full, but are negotiating over how many instalments Villarreal will allow them to pay it in.

By the sounds of it, the deal is on track, but Pochettino has now set Chelsea a deadline to sign the “extraordinary” 22-year-old.

Kinsella explains how the Argentine will officially take charge of his first pre-season session with the Chelsea first-team on July 3rd once everyone has returned from their respective holidays.
