Conor Gallagher insists he “loves” CHELSEA and has expressed his desire to work for “top manager” Mauricio Pochettino.

Gallagher is one of the most talented midfielders in the Premier League and has been given a real chance to shine this season under the guidance of former boss Graham Potter.

However – there has been alot of speculation about his future at the club and whether or not he will leave – especially with all the signings that Chelsea have been making over the past few windows.

He was subject of a hefty bid from Premier League strugglers Everton on deadline day, but opted to stay in London and fight for his place, despite the rumours that he was put up for sale.

The 23-year-old has interest from both Newcastle and West Ham  – but Gallagher has admitted that he has plans to stay at the Blues.

“I love Chelsea, it has been a tough season for me and the whole team so I think we will just be working hard to get us back to where we belong,” he said.

He then revealed his excitement at working under Pochettino: “He’s a top manager, everyone at Chelsea is happy he’s here and we’re looking forward to working with him,” he said.
