BREAKING: Real Madrid ready to double Chelsea player salary after latest club decisions

Real Madrid are willing to double Antonio Rudiger’s wages to tempt him away from Chelsea. This is according to The Sun via TribalFootball.

Rudiger’s Chelsea contract expires at the end of the season and the German international is yet to reach an agreement with the club over a new contract.

If Chelsea fail to reach an agreement with Rudiger by the end of December, the German international will be free to discuss transfer moves with foreign clubs from January.

Rudiger is reportedly among the lowest paid senior players on Chelsea’s books at £100,000-a-week and Real Madrid are willing to offer him a deal worth £200,000-a-week.

Real Madrid have identified the Chelsea centre-back as a key transfer target ahead of next season and a move for Rudiger also appeals to Real Madrid as he will be a free agent at the end of the season.

Bayern Munich, Tottenham and Manchester City have all been linked with the former Roma defender.
