“I had a lot of pains after the match! Kai Havertz provides latest injury update after Burnley clash

During Chelsea vs Burnley clash on Saturday afternoon, Kai Havertz had an awkward moment when he fell over the LED board.

While trying to win over a ball before it crossed the line, the German was pushed as he fell over the LED board at the Matthew Harding End of the pitch.

Havertz had looked jaded after the incident but was able to continue and completed the 90 minutes of the game. However, he hurt his leg after the fall, but he also revealed that he’s fine.

“I had a lot of pain so I just thought I have to try to run again and sometimes in a game the pain goes away, but it was okay for me. I scored the goal so then you have good feelings and it is okay.” Havertz said.

Havertz also admitted that the team wasn’t happy with the draw.

“Of course it is not the best day when you draw at home with Burnley but all in all we can be very satisfied with the last few matches,” summed up Havertz.

“We played good football. We put a lot of effort into the games and we have to keep the momentum after the international break, come back here as strong as before and I am very positive that we will continue this way.”
