Breaking! Saudi Media bid for Chelsea now confirmed, as Raine group set to make this ‘huge’ decision on Monday
Alots has been going on base on Saudi Media bid for Chelsea, with some journalists reporting that it’s done and others denying it.
However, reliable Journalist Nizaar Kinsella confirms that their bid was on time and “competitive”.
Perhaps even more interesting is the other thing he mentions in that Tweet – that there could be decisions made as early as Monday morning.
We had dared to hope that might be the case, but it still seems ambitious.
On the other hand, if they are really just whittling the offers down to a final group, it’s perfectly possible that could be done over the course of a weekend.
After that, there’s a nice two week international period for the actual transaction to take place. It will be a real admin nightmare, but with enough man hours, anything is possible.
