RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner has reportedly agreed to make a move to Chelsea on a permanent transfer.
The 24-year-old has been in an impressive form this season and has attracted interests from numerous clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea.
Jurgen Klopp’s side were among the favourites to get Werner’s signature, however, according to SkySport
Chelsea have now offered a £200,000-a-week a deal to the German striker.
Werner has a €55m (£49.4m) release clause which expires on Monday June 15.
Chelsea have now agreed a deal in principle to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.
