BREAKING: Tuchel confirms Chelsea star will miss FA Cup clash against Luton
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech remains unavailable for Luton selection.
However, Ziyech missed Sunday’s Carabao Cup final loss against Liverpool due to injury and still remains unavailable for selection having not fully recovered from the injury.
“Hakim is not available for tomorrow as he was not available for the final unfortunately,” Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel gave an update on Ziyech ahead of Wednesday’s FA Cup at Luton.
“He still feels uncomfortable and was not in team training today so he’s one of the guys who will miss the game tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, former Chelsea and Liverpool right-back Glen Johnson has hailed Hakim Ziyech as a world-class player.
Johnson told bettingexpert: “I think he’s world class. I think he’s unreal. He is top drawer.
“When he wants to, he can pull games apart. Sometimes he gets a bit of criticism because he looks a little bit lazy, but I don’t think he is that at all. It’s just the way he plays, he is super relaxed and calm. I can’t speak highly enough of him.
“He does work hard, he just doesn’t have the body language that looks like he is working hard.”
