Blues fans might have been expecting a massive victory against relegated Norwich City, but a 1-0 win was all the Blues could get, and for Frank Lampard the three points is all that matters at this stage of the season.

Kepa: Comfortable game at the back as he was never tested. 6/10

Azpilicueta: Defensively solid and was also a threat when attacking. Got in some good positions on the right flank. 7/10

Rudiger: Solid at the back as Norwich never tested the Chelsea defence. Had some passes go astray. 6/10

Zouma: Solid performance against a Norwich side that couldn’t attack the Chelsea goal. 6/10

Alonso: Was an attacking threat on the left flank as he kept going behind the Norwich fullback. Was disappointed to be subbed off in the second half. 6/10

Jorginho: Kept it simple as he kept passing the ball in the middle of the park. 6/10

Loftus-Cheek: Still trying to get his best form after being out for a long time. Slow start to the game. 5/10

Kovacic: We are yet to see his best form since the restart. But a decent game in midfield tonight. 6/10

Willian: Worked hard for the team but didn’t look like he could break the Norwich defence. 6/10

Pulisic: Lovely cross for Giroud to head home. Always threatened the Norwich backline. Got tired in the second half. 7/10

Giroud: Good holdup play, good aerial strength as he made life difficult for Norwich defenders. Scored Chelsea’s only goal of the game with a powerful header. Good performance. 7/10

Subs: Barkley: Came on for Loftus-Cheek shortly after the hour mark and had some nice touches on the ball.

Reece James: Brought extra solidity to the Chelsea defence after replacing Alonso. 6/10

Hudson-Odoi: Brought a spark to the left flank after replacing a tired Christian Pulisic. 6/10
