Chelsea agree personal terms with 69goals Bundesliga attacker, as Blues submit another offer for Defender
According to latest reports, Chelsea are said to have agreed personal terms ahead of Erling Haaland’s potential move to Stamford Bridge.
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is keen to add to his attacking options this summer and Chelsea are known to be keen on Norway striker Haaland.
Borussia Dortmund have indicated that they do not wish to sell the player this summer, so Chelsea could face a tough task in bringing him to west London during this transfer window.
But journalist Ian McGarry has suggested that an agreement with the player himself is already in the bag.
Speaking on The Transfer Window Podcast, McGarry said: “Personal terms for Haaland are signed off. It’s just a case of Chelsea agreeing a fee with Dortmund.”
Blues submit another offer for Defender
According to the latest transfer reports, Chelsea have made an improved bid for Inter Milan full-back Achraf Hakimi.
Thomas Tuchel is a man that knows he needs to keep improving the side in the transfer window as he will need to add a bit more quality to the squad.
That has led to reports in the media that Chelsea are very interested in trying to secure a transfer deal for Hakimi, who is now regarded as one of the very best defenders in Seria A.
Hakimi helped Inter win the Seria A title this season, but the Italians are in debt and they must sell a number of players in the transfer window in order to balance the books, and Hakimi is a man that they will allow to leave
Chelsea are already believed to have made an initial offer worth €60million (£51.5m) plus a choice of Emerson Palmieri or Andreas Christensen, and are even prepared to offer a few more players in a bid to get a deal done
But now the Blues are looking to win the race to sign Hakimi as they look to strengthen their defensive options for a Premier League title tilt next season, as Corriere dello Sport claim that Chelsea have made an improved offer to get a deal done.
It is not known how much Chelsea have submitted in order to sign Hakimi, but as Inter know there is alot of interest in the players signature, they are prepared to hold out for the biggest amount of money that they can.
