Chelsea and Inter Milan set to consider a swap deal with €65m defender
Inter Milan has expressed interest in re-signing Belgium star Romelu Lukaku this summer, but his wages remain an issue.
The Blues are likely to let Lukaku depart after his successful season, and reports indicate they are willing to help the Italian side pay a portion of his wages.
Chelsea, on the other hand, would entertain a swap deal with Inter Milan if this were to materialize.
Chelsea has made an enquiry to recruit Milan Skriniar this summer, according to The Daily Mail, but the two clubs are thought to be far apart on price.
Because Inter want Lukaku and Chelsea want Skriniar, they might be able to work out a deal that benefits both parties.
However, it is doubtful that the Italian team would want Skriniar to depart because there is no guarantee that Lukaku would impress at San Siro now that Antonio Conte is no longer in charge.
Apart from Inter, Tottenham Hotspurs have expressed interest in signing Lukaku from Stamford Bridge under Conte.
