Chelsea announce giant deal is done, as Tuchel told £45m player will complete Chelsea move
Lucas Bergstrom, a goalie for Chelsea, has signed a loan deal with Peterborough United in League One.
The 19-year-old, who stands 6ft 7 in height, joined Chelsea from Turun Palloseura in Finland for the 2018/19 season and has been a fixture in the Academy squads at Stamford Bridge.
Last season, the Finnish goalkeeper was a member of Chelsea’s Premier League 25-man squad as the fourth-choice shot-stopper at Stamford Bridge after impressing the coaches with his performances.
Chelsea have high hopes for him to improve to the point where he can fight for the number one place in the coming seasons – but they know that sitting on the bench will not allow him to do so.
They also made the wise decision to let the big unit go for the next 12 months in order for them to receive some game time and minutes with a very excellent lower league team.

And after seeing the deal get announced – Posh boss Grant McCann was pleased to secure his services and was thankful to the Premier League side for allowing the move to happen.
“Lucas is very highly-rated at Chelsea. He is commanding, a very good shot-stopper and extremely aggressive from crosses and good with his feet. I must give huge thanks to Carlo Cudicini and Chelsea for trusting us in developing Lucas further and we can’t wait to work with him,” McCann said.
Bergström will link-up with his new team-mates on the 22nd June when the Posh squad return for pre-season testing. There will be an interview with Bergström on his arrival at the idverde Training Ground.
In the midst of Chelsea’s interest in Rayan Ait-Nouri, Wolves are demanding a stunning £45 million for the French left-back.
It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel will be looking to add a few defenders this transfer window, since a number of players have already departed or are considering leaving the club.
Many big-name players have been connected with a move to Stamford Bridge, and fans expect Chelsea to be one of the most busy clubs in the transfer window, despite the fact that no major deals have been completed yet.
However, there have been speculations in recent days that Ait-Nouri is a player who is now on the shopping list following a successful season with Wolves last year.
And Wolves will sell the midfielder – who was previously linked with PSG – but at a premium as they try to overhaul their squad, according to the Sun, who believe Chelsea will have to spend £45 million to complete a deal.
Tuchel has enquired about Ait-Nouri, who would replace Marcos Alonso as the Spaniard’s contract expires, since the German believes he would be ideal for Chelsea’s system.
